Part-time Academic Research Assistant (f/m/d) for Translational Immunology

Brandenburg Medical School Theodor Fontane (MHB), Germany – Limited to three years, part–time (65%), at the Brandenburg an der Havel site.

The Brandenburg Theodor Fontane Medical School (MHB) is a state–recognized university in municipal and non–profit sponsorship. MHB’s research focuses on patient-centered healthcare for an aging society. The project investigates the non–classical HLA class I molecule, which induces immunological tolerance, its expression, regulation and clinical importance of its isoforms as well as the identification and characterization of its splice factors.

As part of a DFG-funded project, the applicant should support the thematic focus of the Institute for Translational Immunology in the fields of immune escape from tumors and pathogens and the development of new immunotherapeutic approaches in oncology and infectious diseases with a strong focus on molecular biology.
