Call for Papers: Interactions between Humans and Wildlife
AFAS and G-WAC, two of our sister DAAD Global Centres, invite early-career researchers (from Master’s level to PostDoc) to submit a proposal for an interdisciplinary workshop on the topic ‘Interactions between Humans and Wildlife’ from 23-27 October 2023 in Bonn. (Inter-)National travel and stay in Bonn is funded by DAAD/AA.
Guidelines:
To understand these interactions, an interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral approach is required. An analysis of, inter alia, the interplay between climate change mechanisms, (intensive/extensive) land use, human behaviour, and animal habitat from socio-cultural, veterinarian, environmental, health, and other perspectives would bridge the knowledge gap among these disciplines and improve understanding of a common approach to managing pandemics.
The deadline for applications is 4 June 2023. You can find the call below or visit G-WAC’s website: https://g-wac.org/
The call is open for all early-career researchers with research links to the topic of the workshop.
